Sara R. Horowitz

Sara Horowitz is currently the Director of the Centre for Jewish at York University. Her primary areas of teaching and research are Holocaust representation, literary witnessing, and contemporary Jewish writing, with a focus on gender. She is the author of Voicing the Void: Muteness and Memory in Holocaust Fiction (1997), co-editor of the journal Kerem: Creative Explorations in Judaism, and editor of the Azreili Series of Holocaust Memoirs. She is currently working on a book project called “Gender, Genocide, and Jewish Memory.”
