William (Bill) C. Found,

Faculty of Environmental Studies and Department of Geography (Faculty of Arts)

Bill Found teaches and conducts research in International Development, Program Implementation, Rural Planning, and the Geographical Transformation of the Caribbean Islands. His special interests include community-based environmental management, the evolution of Caribbean landscapes, and the development of Technology-Enhanced Learning. Documentary films prepared for his multi-media course on the Caribbean Islands can be viewed through the Internet (see Documentary Films). In addition to his on-site courses at York, Bill teaches an Internet course on Techniques of Project Planning and Implementation for Interns in United Nations offices throughout the world. Bill is former Vice President (Academic Affairs) and Acting President of York University.
