New Political Economy
New Political Economy is edited by academics at the Political
Economy Research Centre
at the University of Sheffield. The methodology of the new political
economy rejects the old dichotomy between agency and structure,

in social science which have tried to develop an integrated analysis,
by combining parsimonious theories which analyse agency in terms
of a conception of rationality with contextual theories which analyse
structures institutionally and historically
