Economics 4969A 3.0

The course addresses the different forms of economic integration schemes developed and put into practices by the European Union since the ninetyfifties. Emphasis is given to analyzing the European division of labour, in theoretical as well as in empirical terms. The course also analyzes the different monetary regimes in European history and focuses on the common-currency regime of EU11.

Prerequisites: AS/ECON 1000 3.0 and AS/ECON 1010 3.0.
